Firearms Management

Included in the free plan

Structured tracking for every firearm with round counts, maintenance, valuations, attachments, and encrypted documents.

The problem this solves

Most firearm owners keep their records in a mix of paper receipts, a spreadsheet that is two purchases out of date, and photos buried in a phone gallery. When an insurance adjuster asks for proof of ownership, when a family member needs to settle an estate, or when you simply want to know how many rounds a barrel has seen, the information is scattered or missing. ArmoryAtlas gives every firearm a single record that holds the serial number, purchase proof, photos, accessories, maintenance history, and current value, so the answer is always one search away.

What you get

  • •Per‑firearm round counts with maintenance intervals and history
  • •Link attachments (optics, suppressors, magazines) and store docs/photos (zero‑knowledge encrypted)
  • •Purchase price, current value, and depreciation trends
  • •Serial, NFA fields, safe locations, and custom notes
  • •CSV import/export for backups and audits

One record per firearm, built from what you already have

Add a firearm by scanning a receipt, entering the serial number, or importing a CSV from an older spreadsheet. Each record stores make, model, caliber, serial, purchase date, vendor, and price, plus free‑form notes for things like the gunsmith who did the trigger work or which safe the firearm lives in.

Photos and documents attach directly to the record. Receipts, Form 4473 copies, NFA tax stamps, warranty cards, and manuals are encrypted on your device before upload, so the proof you need for insurance or estate purposes is available on every device you own without being readable by anyone else, including ArmoryAtlas staff.

Round counts and maintenance you do not have to remember

Every range session you log deducts rounds from the firearms you used, so the round count is a by‑product of shooting rather than a chore. Set a cleaning interval per firearm and ArmoryAtlas tells you when it is due, records what was done, and keeps the full maintenance history alongside the round count that triggered it.

Because the history is per firearm, you can see patterns that a memory cannot hold: which pistol started having failures after a specific lot of ammunition, or how many rounds a barrel has fired since it was replaced.

Know what the collection is worth

Purchase price and current value are tracked separately, so the record shows both what you paid and what the firearm is worth today. Insurance summaries, estate paperwork, and sale decisions all start from the same number, and depreciation trends are visible in Analytics without exporting anything.

Private by design

A firearm inventory is one of the most sensitive documents a household owns. ArmoryAtlas uses zero‑knowledge encryption: your master password derives a key on your device, and only encrypted data ever reaches our servers. There is no employee dashboard that can list what you own. Read how this works in the Trust Center.

Frequently asked questions

Can I import an existing spreadsheet of my firearms?
Yes. Export your spreadsheet as CSV and import it from the Firearms screen. Columns for make, model, caliber, serial number, purchase date, and price are matched automatically, and you can review each row before saving.
Does ArmoryAtlas see my serial numbers?
No. Serial numbers, photos, and documents are encrypted on your device with a key derived from your master password. Our servers store only encrypted data that cannot be read without that key.
Is firearm tracking free?
Yes. Firearm, ammunition, and accessory inventory with encrypted cloud backup and multi‑device sync is included in the free plan. Premium adds reporting, analytics, reloading, and the Travel Co‑Pilot.
